Due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the scale of VITM Hanoi 2020 has decreased a lot compared to 2019, only about 50% compared to the 2019 fair. This year, VITM has the participation of over 300 businesses and 47 businesses. provinces and cities of Vietnam, along with 6 countries and territories: Korea, Japan, Thailand, Taiwan (China), Colombia, and Peru.

At the fair, Lao Cai introduced at the fair unique tours, famous specialties such as Seng Cu rice, Muong Khuong chili sauce, Fansipan wine, artichokes, .... With the difference and special features of Lao Cai's stall, it has attracted a large number of tourists to visit and advise tours to Lao Cai.

In addition to activities to stimulate demand, promote and introduce tourism products, VITM Hanoi Tourism Fair 2020 also takes place with many other contents, such as: Promotion activities, information exchange between businesses travel; activities of introducing software and applications for digital transformation of tourism enterprises; ceremony to honor typical organizations, businesses and individuals of the Vietnam Tourism Association in 2019.
