The Conference on Lao Cai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion 2019 was held with the message “Lao Cai - Successful destination”. With the scale and participation of about 450-500 delegates, including: Government leaders; central ministries and branches; Provincial Party Committees, People's Committees of concerned provinces and cities of Vietnam; Group, corporations, domestic and foreign businesses; Embassies of foreign countries, localities and foreign organizations having cooperation with Lao Cai province; news agencies and media; provincial agencies.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc led a delegation to visit the tourism exhibition area at Conference on Lao Cai Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion.

In the framework of the conference, the delegation also surveyed and visited to Lao Cai city (Lao Cai international border-gate and the area planned to build the Economic Cooperation Cross-border).

The conference was a big event, important meaning for the Party, government and people in the province. It was an opportunity for the province to promote and introduce the potentials, strengths, incentive mechanisms and policies, attract trade and tourism investment in the province.
