The suspension of Thuong Temple Festival 2020 aims to comply with the guidance of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, the Prime Minister and documents of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee, on strengthening prevention and control of disease caused by Corona virus related to festive activities, entertainment, education and labor. Especially, the situation is caused by new strains of Corona virus (nCoV), being outbreaks and large-scale development now.

            Specifically: Do not organize the "Ceremony" part: Folk sacrifices, offering trays at 14:00, February 7, 2020 (January, 14 of the lunar calendar) and not offering incense on the morning of 08/02/2020 (January, 15 of the lunar calendar); and do not organize the "Festive" with cultural activities, arts and sports...within the framework of the Thuong Temple Fesival in 2020.
