On April 26, 2021, the People's Committee of Bac Ha district issued the Plan No. 132 / KH-UBND to organize the contest "Beautiful photos of Bac Ha tourism" in 2021.

The contest "Beautiful photos of Bac Ha Tourism 2021" aims to introduce and promote the image of Bac Ha's unique people, culture and nature to numerous domestic and international tourists. Through the contest to preserve and promote the cultural values, natural landscapes have favored and bestowed on Bac Ha.

It is an opportunity to pay tribute to the journalists and artists who have come and stick with Bac Ha over the years, on the occasion of Vietnam Press Day, June 21.

The contest photos with the theme of Bac Ha Tourism, reflect the typical culture, richness and diversity of the lives and activities of ethnic groups living in Bac Ha; tourism resources, tourism - cultural works, tourist sites, cultural heritages, historic sites, festivals, landscapes, traditional craft villages, and types of folklore within Bac Ha district.

The plan specifies the theme of this year's competition: "Bac Ha Tourism". With the content and form of the contest as follows: the contest works are shown in the form of photos of landscapes, historical - cultural relics, tourist sites, destinations, pictures of the land and Bac Ha people; These are the photos that have not been awarded in the competition yet, have never been published.
