Lao Cai issues a new official document on the prevention and control of Covid 19

Lao Cai applied epidemic prevention and control measures to continue to prevent and control the epidemic from entering the province from other localities.
On September 25, 2021, Lao Cai Provincial People's Committee issued Official Letter No. 4647/UBND-VX on the application of measures to monitor, isolate, prevent and combat COVID-19. These measures will be applied from 00:00 on September 26, 2021 until further notice. As follows:

For people coming to/from high-risk areas: Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister is being applied; Blocked areas (corresponding to the red color in the outbreak update table) must carry out a full 14-day concentrated medical isolation and take samples for SARS-CoV-2 testing according to regulations.

For people coming to/from high-risk and high-risk areas: applying Directive No. 15/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister or applying some measures at a higher level than Directive No. 15/ CT-TTg (corresponding to orange or yellow in the outbreak update table) must have a negative SARS-CoV-2 test card by RT-PCR within 72 hours or 24 hours by rapid test method, If you do not have a test card, you must perform a quick test with a fee at the quarantine point in Lao Cai province, and at the same time perform a 14-day medical isolation at home and take samples for testing as prescribed. During the isolation period, if there are symptoms of cough, fever... take samples for testing and transfer to isolation and treatment at medical facilities.

For people coming to/from the area taking measures according to Directive No. 19/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister or equivalent (corresponding to the blue color in the outbreak update table): a SARS test card is required. -CoV-2 is negative by RT-PCR method within 72 hours or 24 hours by rapid test method, if there is no test card, a quick test must be performed with a fee at the quarantine point entering Lao Cai province. , and perform self-monitoring of health for 14 days from the date of return to the locality.

For vehicles transporting goods: passed the gate when all people on the vehicle have negative SARS-CoV-2 test cards by RT-PCR within 72 hours or 24 hours by rapid test method . In case there is no test card or yes but the time limit has passed, a quick test must be performed at a paid checkpoint. Particularly for vehicles with an expired QR Code identification certificate issued by the transport sector (green channel vehicles), testing costs are free for no more than 2 people/vehicle in case of rapid test test cards. for a period of 24 to 72 hours.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Health to continue daily updating outbreaks across the country, informing quarantine checkpoints, news agencies and localities for widespread information to help people easily access.

Chairmen of People's Committees of districts and towns continue to direct the strengthening of control of people and vehicles from other localities to/from quarantine checkpoints; continuously review and strengthen the community covid team to improve the effectiveness of epidemic prevention and control in the area; continue to strengthen control of the movement of people in the area, promptly detect cases returning from epidemic areas without medical declaration for timely handling according to regulations.
