Upper Lao Cai Temple, named Thanh Tran Tu, was built in the Le Dynasty, in the reign of Chinh Hoa (1680 -1705), is the place to worship the temperance Duke Hung Dao Dai Vuong - Tran Quoc Tuan. The temple is located right on Hoa Hien hill in Lao Cai ward, Lao Cai city today, only 500m from the international border gate. The temple shines on the side of Nam Thi river, where there is a charming landscape, with a harmonious combination of traditional architecture and indigenous culture, giving the temple a majestic and splendid appearance. Coming here, visitors will admire the hundred-year-old ancient banyan tree spreading its canopy around the temple courtyard.
